Lord of the Rings - The Pantomime, 2022

This is the project I am most proud of in my life. During my third year of university, alongside writing my dissertation, working in a bar, and being Head of Daytime Radio for my uni radio station, I also directed, produced and acted in LOTR the Panto. I was president of the Pantomime Society at the time, who had never put on anything as large, and certainly never worked with tech in their shows. We did all of this for the first time - booking the venue, running technical rehearsals, everything that goes into a bigger show - under my direction, with none of my team or me having ever done it before. I'm so proud to say that the show was an award winning, sold out success, and launched my theatre career into the realms of "oh, I can actually do this for a living!" I am still producing work with my team from LOTR, and I feel like the year of living and breathing the show was worth it.
